What is FLUX 3 Klein?
FLUX 3 Klein is the distilled member of Black Forest Labs' FLUX 3 family: a smaller, faster build of the flagship model, compressed (“distilled”) to answer in seconds instead of half a minute. It keeps the FLUX look — photographic light, real materials, disciplined composition — and trades a little fine detail for a 3–10× lower price.
It generates at 1K, 1.5K or 2K in JPEG, PNG or WebP, accepts seeds for reproducible results, and edits with up to three reference images.

What does “distilled” mean?
The flagship FLUX model's rendering was compressed into a smaller, faster build. You get most of the quality in a fraction of the time and cost — the trade is a little fine detail at the largest sizes, which is why finals still belong on FLUX 2 Pro.
How is FLUX 3 Klein different from FLUX 2 Pro?
Klein is speed and price: 2–7 credits, seconds per image, JPEG/PNG/WebP out. FLUX 2 Pro is maximum fidelity at 5 credits per ~1MP with JPEG output. Draft on Klein, finish on Pro — one balance covers both.
How many reference images can an edit use?
Up to three. The first is included in the edit tier price; each extra reference adds 2 credits, shown before you generate.
Can I use the images commercially?
Yes — paid plans include a commercial license for the images you generate: ads, packaging, client work, merchandise. As everywhere, don't use it to imitate real brands, products or people you don't have the rights to.
