What is Seedream 5 Pro?
Seedream 5 Pro is the flagship of ByteDance's Seedream 5 family — the tier above Seedream 5.0 Lite. Where Lite optimizes for price, Pro optimizes for the finished asset: denser detail, more reliable composition, and the family's best typography for posters, covers and campaign work.
It generates at 1K, 1.5K or 2K across nine aspect ratios, and edits with reference images — restyle a product shot, composite a scene, or hold a subject consistent across a campaign.

How is Seedream 5 Pro different from Seedream 5.0 Lite?
Pro is the flagship: sharper detail, stronger typography and more reliable composition, priced by resolution tier (8 credits at 1K/1.5K, 15 at 2K). Lite is one flat 6 credits at free-form sizes — draft on Lite, finish on Pro.
How many reference images can an edit use?
Up to four in the studio. The first reference is included in the tier price; each extra reference adds 1 credit, shown before you generate.
Can I use the images commercially?
Yes — paid plans include a commercial license for the images you generate: ads, packaging, client work, merchandise. As everywhere, don't use it to imitate real brands, products or people you don't have the rights to.
Which resolution should I pick?
